About

ALRP was established in 1983 as an emergency response to the AIDS crisis in the San Francisco Bay area. Originally, the main focus of ALRP was to have an urgent will on the side of the bed for those who died quickly from disease. With the progress of the crisis and improvements in the drugs that prolong the lives of our customers, ALRP focuses on the issue of civil law in all forms for people living with HIV in the Bay Area. Over the past 35 years, ALRP has handled more than 76,000 legal issues for its customers.

From the ALRP website: ALRP is the only institution in the San Francisco Bay Area to provide free, low-cost legal support and education for nearly all civil issues to those infected with HIV/AIDS.   It also includes a wide range of fields, including housing, employment, insurance, confidential matters, family law, credit, government benefits, and public facilities. This can be accomplished by one of the five lawyers at ALRP representing the customer directly or by placing one of the 700 lawyers at ALRP and the customer carefully.

I have worked in two law firms for the past year. They are not only fighting HIV/AIDS, they are fighting for legal rights and justice. In consideration of ALRP, select a NPO and donate to this holiday season. :)

It's surprising how many things you need legally when you get AIDS.
Lawyers who have divorced and lived out of their homes in recent years have rarely used them.
After the squatter has made the mesupt. In the garage of the house I rented, I finally called a lawyer from ALRP and accepted the case. When the settlement hearing finally started, a lawyer representing Squatter for "Eviction Defense Cooperation" collapsed my ALRP knee. He was afraid of going to court, so he offered to pay the duress they demanded.
Fair to him, he was very careful and did his best.
Of course, I was bankrupt by a six-month ruffian, and I had a $10K debt. I didn't want to lend money and force it on. At the hearing of the settlement he discussed and asked, but I recovered. The hearing of the settlement went through the morning and afternoon, and I had to go to work. The servant, serving the female, could not concentrate on the rules of contract, so he did not appear for money.

Then, for a week, I moved to my master's house where I could not see his lack of character. He didn't speak English well at all, so he made me translate for nothing every day. One morning, as soon as he awoke, he stooped to me and I gave him half an hour, but I promised him to go, and then he turned his back to me. My rent was paid, but he didn't give me a copy of the lease that we signed, and he didn't even ask how much he paid, and he caused a dispute between the three of us tenants, and drove me out. A list of unjust and unjust acts against me was piled up. So I complained to the SF rental management committee. The tenant evaded me in retaliation. The reason I went to the "Eviction Defense Collaboration" was because I had seen their good before. I paid a $280 fee and as soon as I heard about AIDS, I was handed over to ALRP.
I told the EDC that I don't want to go to ALRP, but they didn't listen to the first lawyer Kim.
The "eviction expert" ALRP tells me that everyone is calm. I've never caused an incident," he said. At that time I knew I was drunk, I didn't imagine how bad it was. At the hearing of the settlement, I claimed that a predatory master tents lawyer, a lawyer, and a Protem judge herdded me, with my favor, rejected all my cases, kept a 2K deposit, and signed a contract to pay rent until I paid again. The cost of moving (1,500 dollars), as well as the washing machine in front of me, is included in the contract to keep the furniture he wanted, but I don't think of the cost of moving (1,500 dollars). He used to say he wanted to buy it, but I thought I couldn't move it, so he became free to use them and he didn't feel like buying anything. Then he wrote me a check for the washer and stopped paying on it. I agreed to pay rent, find a place, and at first refund three weeks to move early, but he refused, arguing that the settlement would not give me a right.
This situation left me a serious debt, and ALRP is the reason. In the last case they were worse than not having a lawyer.

My partner was having problems with social security. ALRP responded to the complaint and restored his rights with a reverse allowance. I don't know how it was done, but I partnered with the Positive Resource Center to really help me. As a lawyer working with ALRP and the Positive Resource Center, Dustin would not accept his case. Thanks to both.

I don't understand how this organization is still funded. Staff do not respond, it is not useful, & The way you interact with customers, including your experience, is sometimes unscrupulous. A few years ago, I wrote a review that someone mentioned in the latest Yelp review. The ALRP review has been removed. In the previous review conducted in

2013, & I talked about the call. Leave a message in ALRP and have not had a single call back from someone for about six months. I just gave up. But last year, when the problem with the landlord began to escalate, I ALRP& I got in touch with. The first meeting was wasting my time in spoken language for six months.

6 months later they were unable to secure any honest lawyers that would help them. They first received Mr. M's introduction, and Mr. M's my case & amp; He gave me a brief description of I promised to follow him next week, but he didn't. Six and a half hours later, I called six more times. Mr. M never answered. Mr. J, the next introduction to ALRP, said when I called, he was not going to work in Bono. I was told off the phone with me. "If I'm working for free, how do you think I'll graduate from law school?" (Don't accept the agreement in Probono!) The following introduction introduces Mr. H's honorary retirement & amp; He said to me that if I help him write a letter, he won't get caught up in the answer, and if I'm done with a trial, it won't help. Then the female Ms.. & he called. The lawyer says that ALRP introduced me; even if she was willing to help me, when I asked ALRP about her, they'd like her & I said I didn't say anything about it. Because she didn't allow me to help, LS called the back amplifier. ALRP is & for me; said that he canceled the assignment. The only thing that I was introduced to was the question about Mr. S's borrowing, which actually came to my house, that she was working on my case. When I proposed that I would be very pleased with the problem, ALRP's lawyer stated that he had completely objected to his opinion, but I asked for a brief document but he did not mention it to me in writing. Neither ALRP nor I could get in touch with Mr. S who ignored the 6-week phone call.

In short, ALRP didn't try to contact him or move on. They just wanted me to discuss how to work on their case, and what the real goal is. I worked with three lawyers, & I did nothing and didn't write to the landlord about the problem I should address. They wrote a complaint to my landlord, but as long as I told my husband about my problem, they didn't do that. After all, I was with the landlord; and was defended. ALRP helped to make this relationship completely worse. To make matters worse, they introduced me several times, but I decided not to accept it, what an insult! He sent me a letter saying that It was my fault that they did nothing.

Six months later, before my lawyer in Philadelphia moved to science fiction, I found a good landlord's introduction to living in science fiction. & A new problem occurred in. I needed help to deal with them. Otherwise, we will run the risk of eviction. I talked with the introduction. AP claimed that if I made my case professional, I had to go through an institution like ALRP. I explained to them that I had a terrible time, but she insisted that it was the only way to accept my appeal. Ms AP is ALRP & Call back after call to. I would like to rewelcome you, but I reregister as a customer and AP& Please refer to. Then I worked with them, and for the next seven business days, I left six answering machines (two for three lawyers who worked at ALRP), but nobody was admitted and never came back. I got a phone call from SC, the top lawyer I worked with. She heard the letter of introduction and said that Philly's lawyer told me in my place that he would not accept my suit. Don't call her. I asked why, especially two times ago ALRP& I only spoke. SC, who wanted to start helping us out, said in a blunt tone, "She doesn't agree with your problem that you're trying to decide with your wife." I asked her. "Why do you know the problem I'm having now, even though I haven't talked to six MOS&? They didn't care about calling me or planning a new meal." & He said he knew. Never contact Ms AP again.

UNCONSENABLE!!! They didn't help me and wasted my precious time.
I have actually broken the relationship with the referral letter introduced through the previous lawyer. These people are shame! Don't waste your time on the first phone!

If you need housing, social security, medical problems, etc., don't go to this people's place.
They don't handle customers thoroughly or express concerns.
They are only interested in collecting salary checks and taking frequent vacations

in examining this organization  More than two years ago, I ran across a review written by a man on the Internet.   He reported that no one would call you, no matter which extension number he used.   I came here two years later and reported the same complaint.  in two years  ALRP will be able to confide in outgoing phone messages that better manage customer expectations.  I remembered the old sayings  "I know the amount of the payment."

Next, go to their office.  Obviously the only way to get a response from them   (If their call had been accepted, they would not have wasted much time waiting for the phone to call).  I will write again when I finish this work.

I must agree with Daniel F. Regarding the lack of response to voicemail messages, the announcements posted this year are particularly related to the lack of response to voicemail messages. I am eager to communicate in time, understand the needs of customers, and find lawyers dealing with HIV/AIDS patients, and I don't think that most of their clients do not work, or they feel that they have low fixed income, and do not use them. I was disappointed that things didn't change for years. I can understand the feelings of the customers because of my sadness.

Miraculous workers in every way! This is an affordable service for people in very difficult positions, losing sight of their potential to face by all aspects of desire and discrimination, and getting nothing. They're the light at the end of the tunnel! They will lead you to whatever problem you are facing, and they will do their best to get out of the hole you are in! I am proud of ALRP. And their great service is absolutely recommended to those who have lost hope and lost hope.
