I must admit that I am surprised at this rating, but I think it is the main reason why many people are not thinking about reviewing (or searching) Yelp's immigration offices. If you have a bad experience, you are likely to find a way to express your complaint.

I have worked with several BAL lawyers and have always been impressed with their knowledge and expertise. There are two people who are slow to respond to email (this is a problem), but overall, the service is exemplary. If you have a problem with the strategy of the case, it's important to discuss it with the lawyer, but it's important to remember that they have been proposing the best way of litigation for decades, 99%.

I'll use it because my employer will use it.

Horrible.
Don't answer on time, but take a few months to get involved. It is not at all kind of me to work with you.

Stay away.

I have the same problem with this company too.
They filed my case without feeling my mistake.

I have a huge list of questions and I have provided as much information as I can.

Somehow, they don't read or see the uploaded document.

I am not satisfied with this company!

a horrible experience My I797 has encountered an error, but I found it so I had to apply for a fix. They couldn't send the documents that they claimed they had. When I called them, they said that their paralegal were somewhere in the office. He is utterly incompetent. I'd be afraid if my employer would hire a lawyer to deal with his case and I would avoid such a lemon.

I want you to avoid it.

It's terrible! I think why it is eligible to handle immigrant patients. Very non-professional and low-level services they do not have knowledge of immigration laws. In most cases, you will not be able to contact you during business hours. I had no choice but to assign someone to me by my company. And he's a bad lawyer I've never worked with before, and he plays gently only when there's someone in my company, and I'm not the only one to respect. And finally, he gave me wrong advice/answer to my case. If you want to do something right, I will never recommend this company. Never reach out to others.

I processed the H1B transfer process and posted a summary of the schedule, but did not follow it and it was much slower than the schedule I posted. They sent me a status check URL, but I had never seen a voluntary update there. Every time you visit or answer, you will be able to find updates on the website. I doubt if the case had been handled before I asked. They were very late, and now I've broken my schedule to resign and get a new job. professional and incompetent

He runs a company with about 200 employees on an H1 visa. We tried this immigration office because other engineers were introduced using it. They really blew it away. As a result, I lose the star engineer for two months.

When you become a new client, your lawyer will respond immediately to you when you call.

It's hard to go with them because it's not cheap and many customers can offer services.

I used to work for a very good company in the Seattle area. They applied for the H1B in 2016 and said they were picked up by lottery. As a result, I rented a new car. Later, when I asked for a receipt for my case, I mistakenly read my name, and said that the receipt was from another person. I joined F1-OPT and they ruined my future. My company said that I also heard a lot of cases about the GC/PERM application for those who made mistakes.

I was very worried when I read the review for the first time here. Since we were our company, we had no choice, so we went. This team is the best, so I'm really glad I don't have any other choice! !! In my 7-year experience, it was really the best team. They reply to the email quickly. They take time to answer your questions one by one. Michelle and Katia did a great job on the H1 application. It took less than three weeks to process the paper work, and I created a complete document.

I work in the accounting department at a Silicon Valley technology company. I have little experience with real lawyers, but from the reviews I read here, they seem to be as cunning as the managers. We had to resend the check again and again. Because they are constantly losing their payment. We try to send the check by certified mail, and our payment goes to this poor excuse in the law firm, but they are still making ends meet. As for the nature of the Immigration Control Act and the handling of time, if you want to do something correctly, I will not recommend this company. The management staff may literally confirm the receipt of the check by email and return it by saying they have not received it.

Five stars are strong. I definitely recommend this company. I don't know why there are so many bad reviews. This company managed to solve my very complex H1 case, and other companies said that they could do nothing. Atlney is very sensible and sensitive.

the worst law firm in history My green card lawyer didn't bother to reply to my email, receive my phone, or call me back. Her assistant makes every mistake when writing a two-page form. I hate them all and I'm happy that I don't have to deal with them again!

Terrible people. It takes a long time for Pararegal to go back and do a truly dirty job. Palaregal has been more concerned with internal deadlines than you have. Lawyers, like many people talk to, continue their work because they are tied to the company, and they can't say anything when choosing.

If you choose, run away. Otherwise, talk to HR about these Yelp reviews and help you find others.

It is one of the worst corporations that deal with green cards in Silicon Valley. If you are working with Berry Appleman, we strongly recommend that you work with other immigration companies to apply for a green card. It takes more than three years for this slow, ineffective law firm to take 1.5 years.

I made a mistake in my application.
1) The Labor Ministry's refusal to classify wages over and over again made the job description ambiguous.
2) The job offer took 9 months. This can take at most one to two months.
3)The executive's decision to downgrade the application from EB-2 to EB-3 is because I made several mistakes in steps (1) and (2) and did not ask me.

This company has given you incredible blunders, terrible services and incompetence that you can manage with the giant Silicon Valley.

At last I got through, but my manager came in and passed the process by hand.

Pros:
1. All documents can be uploaded, and some websites cannot request the same documents later. You can check the status of the
2 process on the website

Cons:
1. the company itself In the last four months, three sets of organizational changes were made and my case was moved to three different teams
2. Response to emails and questions is very slow. I waited for three months and eight follow-up emails and asked me to answer my very simple questions about my case.
3. This process is very slow. I can see four months to write a job description. In December, all the documents were submitted, and an outline of their duties was submitted for the current wage decision in May.
4 The phone is very nice and you can enjoy the phone, but you will not respond to any email or phone calls.
5. There are others who do great jobs on the market at cheap rates.

Use these to convince you not to be chosen by HR or your manager.

It's a terrible company. In short, I started a work-based EB2 green card petition with them because a major technology company is working with them. Even after she got married (with an American), she took her lawyer and made her own case.

I worked with them after the initial phase of the EB2 green card application. It took more than a year to go through the PERM stage. It also included a parallel-legal sort that infinitely classifies mistakes when preparing for a format. When I think of the infinite forms that I have to fill in, I don't know what will happen.

By the time I am ready to submit a work-based petition, I will return from my honeymoon and submit a family-based petition. My family petition with my lawyer was less than four months after submitting to the green card.

If you have the opportunity to go to another place and any money, I highly recommend it.

The agent gave me the wrong list of my visa application and the wrong time of submission. The result is the application & caused many delays

I enjoyed working at this company with equity partners in the top position.  They worked hard to build this business (with many risks) and international development was good.  All organizations have office politics, favoritism.  Disproportionate compensation and high turnover.

Good, hardworking people are neglected or neglected because they do not respect the current C level  Control and morality are low.  Operations and shared services must begin with a review of international and domestic accounting teams, in particular.  In the past 18 months, 50% of US finance teams have left BAL, and subscribers do not want full-time opportunities.

I hope that the Company will visit the executive again.  Good luck I'm still a fan and consider using it for our international immigrant needs.

The review here is accurate. Compared to other lawyers, the processing is very slow. very arrogant people

BAL is a partner of my company, so we have to use their services. They lied about the requirements of our cases, made us wait for a few months, and so the cases were not handled. Stay away!

This company is heavily involved and does not focus on quality. They treat their employees like sweatshop employees, and their customer service is petty. Go to a small company, and it's great for your business. It may be a little higher, but quality is worth the cost.

Worst service! !!Throw! ! Their lawyers don't know anything, they don't know anything about immigration procedures.

Be careful if you work with me. Don't defend yourself and don't believe it. Carefully check the document. You can fail, but don't forget to fail and lose nothing.

I had no choice but to use it for my company. I think they are especially knowledgeable, competent, and not expert.

1. Even though I had my green card made, my application took a long time. Compared to similar applications (similar to nationality, application time, and characteristics), (years) are much longer.

2. You never receive a phone or respond to an email. They need follow-up several times and even when they answer, they take an attitude.

3. After you finish your work, you will never be able to get it.

Well, if your employer decides to hire you, there's no choice.
This is the worst immigration company I have ever dealt with. Very late, non-personal, I didn't need to worry about my case or the situation in the Immigration. It is impossible to get a reply from the lawyer dealing with the case. Para corporations can choose their answers in a week or so. Submission of the PERM application took more than eight months and the date is too late when the audit occurs. They refused to share the document on refusal with me. The case was rejected and we were involved in Balka. BALCA sent all the details and history of the PERM application. Then I learned that they dropped the ball into my green card application. He moved from one employer to another, resumed the application for a green card and lost it for nearly four years.

If possible, give a zero star. The lawyer is out of his way. Since I sent all the necessary documents, I didn't get a word in a month. When I ran after them, they said they needed another letter. I sent the letter within twenty minutes. Then he was told to wait another month for the explanation of his work. Difficult? ?150 words of instruction will end in two months? ?? It's not a joke.

Unfortunately, that's the law firm my company uses. There was no other choice. Do not use this choice if you have other choices.

The company is just working with companies and is still on the market. Poor service and slow results.

I've forgotten for months and wasted for months.

Avoid this company if you are a personal or small company.

Anonymous

I have to agree with other reviewers and they reply to the email about a week later. I usually don't post to Yelp. I feel obliged to share my experience with this non-professional company. In

2012, we handled the H1-B update. After I had submitted all the necessary documents, they remained untouched for a month until I asked the progress of the case. Avoid them at no cost.

Anonymous

Om! Don't use this company! They are too late to do anything right! I used them only because of my company. They should go out of business.

The purpose of this review is to inform others that there is a problem with the quality of the service, including Balglobal, rather than the outlet for the bad experience that I experienced while working with Balglobal. Not everyone in the company says they are poor, but some people in the para-regal area are unqualified. Note: If you are vulnerable to time or have problems, you should understand all possible problems. As you work with balglobal, you have a large corporate account, so you end up working through a corporate lawyer. Discuss unexpected issues that occurred in previous similar cases with your internal lawyers and prepare for contingency planning. I want other people to read this and ask Bar Global the right questions.

I think BAL is a professional who services my PR case from an employer (IT company in a large company), who responds to my questions and concerns and closely follows up the case. It will help to make my case smooth, including the tips to port PD from previous I-140.

My employer worked with them and I worked with BAL for H1B and my green card. I worked with two different BAL lawyers. My experience is terrible on the whole.

I worked with Jeff Appleman in my H1B process. He didn't know, he couldn't apply for a pending exemption for J1 (his wife and I should leave the US until H1B was approved), and he advised me that I could not adjust the status. I hired an independent legal advisor who said the lawyer knew nothing, and during that time I sent him some things to read and made such a wrong comment. After all, my H1B was filed without a problem, but I had to hire someone to teach my BAL lawyer the right thing. I thought that Jeff was suspected of not having enough knowledge and had hired another person to double-check his legal advice, and in the meantime I postponed the wedding on Jeff's advice. So please tell me. What's worse than a lawyer who doesn't know the right thing?

1 Later, I worked with another BAL lawyer, Petra Tan. She was irresponsible and was not professional. More than three or five days ago, if you don't need more than one sentence for a simple question or just ask a short answer of type Yes/No, she didn't reply to my email. It takes three to five days to answer a single answer, and after bouncing the email, it was not in time for the deadline (a significant delay in green card processing). I asked the Immigration Bureau of the company what BAL's service contract is for us. The answer is "24 hours, 48 hours if the next day is a holiday." I have confronted the lawyer, all our letters were sent by email, and I have evidence that she violated the service contract at least 10 times. She says she's sorry and will respond in a timely manner in the future. Yet she could not answer one very simple question. "If I could follow my company's service contract, why didn't I do it?" As I said, she is at best an amateur.

If your company works with them, it may end up with BAL and have no choice, but if you have a choice, be sure to avoid it.

Anonymous

The most non-professional application process ever. I went to a three-hour interview, but I had to hurry to work on schedule, and I was told that I would get an answer in a few days. After several weeks of trying to contact the job office again and again, I received a single reply that I was not hired. I know that the answer to many applicants is slow or slow, but after taking nearly half of my day? Come on.

Anonymous

It's not worth a star.  Beware of missed deadlines, illegal and incorrect advice, or ignoring immigration qualifications.  They can receive services because they have a connection with the executive, but they don't care about your results at all. In the worst case, it's impossible.
