It's the first weekend of April — time to try something new. 🎥 Watch the 2023 film "Perfect Days" under the night sky as part of PROXY's spring 2024 outdoor movie series.

🎶 Enjoy a night of classical music with a twist — with the San Francisco Symphony's "Soundbox Space," the audience will help create pieces of art by interacting with a roboticist and other technologies.

🖌️ Try your hand at crafting your own anime at a workshop with comics artist and Anime Your Way founder Carlos Nieto III at the Cartoon Art Museum. All materials will be provided.

• 1-2:30pm for kids 6-13 and 3-4:30 for people over 14. Free but registration is required.

🍠 Get the full ube experience at the Ube Festival and try a selection of delicacies from vendors like Senor Sisig, Uncle Tito's, Al Pastor Papi, Marley's Treats and more. Each vendor will offer a signature item showcasing the versatility of the beloved purple yam.

• 12-5pm at District Six in SoMa. $5 entry fee.
