March 28, 2024 – Curiosity. Solutions. Innovation can propel you into the future. Today’s most successful trailblazers defy convention. Santa Fe College (SF) prepares forward-thinkers to lead the way via specialized degree and certificate programs.

For example, SF’s bachelor’s program in Information Systems Technology with tracks in programming, networking, and cybersecurity is where you can expand your curiosity and be rewarded for your tenacity.

Dane Santiago became an Information Technology student at Santa Fe College to satisfy his natural tendency to solve problems.

“I think I’ve always been a natural troubleshooter,” Santiago said. “Problems intrigue me. I want to finish whatever I start. And naturally, if something is open or needs to be fixed, I’m like, all right, well, I’m not going to stop until it’s been fixed.”

Santiago was attracted to Santa Fe College because he could take classes while continuing to work his regular schedule. “They made everything easy, from class schedules to learning in the classroom and offering extra hours and things like that.”

Whether you were coding in middle school or have basic computer skills, Santa Fe College can equip you with the knowledge to make IT your career.

“I had never seen programming at all until I got into Santa Fe [College],” Santiago reflected. “And now it’s my profession.”

From the tech desk to the president’s desk, our Information Technology programs build the framework for more than technical mastery. More than enrichment. Fulfillment.
