Mr. Buenaventura is a competent *trial* lawyer. But I can't make a positive review of him. He dragged out a number of complex minor crime cases for over a year. He didn't respond to email, phone, or voice mail.  In the end, if he could get in touch with him, he would give me contradictory advice to push the case forward. His very poor professionalism created a lot of anxiety about me and my family.

Furthermore, Buenaventura strongly motivated to bring my case to justice for reconciliation. When he was asked about a deal with DA, he lied to us and he was unpretentious. I have doubts about financial motives so that I can bring to trial the $5k + $250 per hour.  We asked for external advice and finally got fired, Mr. Buenaventura.  Thank you.

Other Lawyers (Mr. Steven Chase) was able to withdraw all charges using the expert's report before the next pretrial conference.  The evidence has come out. Ray didn't care for us, and was an objectively inferior lawyer to Mr. Chase in every way.

Buenaventura was initially paid attention to our case, and was responsible for identifying the appraiser who had the key to proving my innocence and rejecting all charges, so he was given two stars.  I wish Mr. Buenaventura to make a sincere wish that he will learn to treat his customers with greater respect and integrity in the future.
