I was certainly talking with a young companion, but I was obviously not satisfied with the service I received. The gentleman began to talk (his passionate manner of speaking was not easy to understand) and severely criticized my preconceptions of circumstances, questions, resources, priorities, etc. He justified his speech every week on the basis of "hundreds of people like me." I tried to ask a legal question that he could tell me based on his experience and research with "hundreds of people", but I said "I won't go" and tried to divert them. In my opinion, he would have been more effective if he had first asked questions, better understand my situation and my interests, take a deep breath, and calmly answer my real question. He calmly accepted his assessment of his company's ability to help me, and accepted his suggestion on alternative resources if I didn't help, and finally accepted his advice.
